The Focetti Pro 4-in-1 is the entry point at £489. It holds 2.4 litres, heats to 98°C, filters the drinking water through a carbon and calcium cartridge that we list at a 6 month replacement, and carries a 2 year warranty.

The Modena Digital 100 costs £529. That is £40 more than the Focetti Pro. It is the only current Fohen that reaches 100°C, from a 2.5 litre tank, and its filter uses carbon and phosphate. The warranty is 1 year, so check the cover before you pay for the extra degrees.

The Kyros 4-in-1 Pull Out is the dearest current Fohen at £549. It holds 2.4 litres, heats to 98°C and uses a carbon filter, with a 1 year warranty. The extra money buys a flexible pull-out spout, which is useful for rinsing a deep sink.

None of the three serves chilled or sparkling water in our data. The Futura Fizz 5-in-1 (£1,599) did, and it is one of the four earlier models that have left the catalogue, with the Furnas 3-in-1 (£449), the Focetti (£469) and the Flex (£999).
