Head-to-head
Qettle vs Arnotap:
two UK challengers under £650.
Both brands launched in the last decade specifically to undercut Quooker. Qettle keeps the 100°C purity. Arnotap (sold as Arno on the box) trades 2°C for a keener price and a 3-year warranty. Both are among the cheapest credible 4-in-1 taps in the UK.
Arnotap wins on price and warranty. Arnotap matches Qettle's boiling, filtered, hot and cold for a similar spend, but adds a touchscreen interface and a 3-year warranty against Qettle's 2. If you want the keenest price and the longer warranty, Arnotap makes the £499 outlay look strong.

Our verdict
Arnotap wins on price and warranty. Arnotap matches Qettle's boiling, filtered, hot and cold for a similar spend, but adds a touchscreen interface and a 3-year warranty against Qettle's 2. If you want the keenest price and the longer warranty, Arnotap makes the £499 outlay look strong.
Qettle wins on the boiling-temperature purist case. If you cook seriously (pasta, blanching, fast tea) and you want a tap that actually delivers 100°C, Qettle stays loyal to that promise where Arnotap takes the 98°C compromise. For the small kitchen segment, Qettle's compact Signature is also a better fit.
Both beat Quooker on value, but neither beats Quooker on resale. If you are renovating to sell within 3-5 years, the established Quooker brand still adds more to the property value than either challenger. For everyone planning to stay and just wanting the tap to work, Qettle or Arnotap saves you £600-800 with the same daily experience.
