How the Qettle range fits together

We cover 4 Qettle boiling water taps, with recommended retail prices from £620 to £945. Every one heats to 100°C. Every one filters the water. The warranty is 2 years on all of them. Our data lists no chilled or sparkling water for any Qettle, so the range differs in tank size, price and finish and not in what comes out of the tap.

The Original 4-in-1 is the entry point at £620. It holds 4 litres, draws 14 watts on standby and up to 1,300 watts at peak, and comes in Brushed Steel, Chrome, Black and Gunmetal. It launched in 2021.

The Signature costs £795, £175 more than the Original. It holds 2 litres against 4 in the Original, so the extra money does not buy a bigger tank. It draws 11 watts on standby, comes in 3 finishes and was released in 2023.

The Signature Modern comes as a 4 litre tap at £870 and as a round-spout 7 litre tap at £945, a gap of £75. Both come in Stainless Steel, Brass, Gunmetal, Black and Brushed Brass. The larger tank draws 18 watts on standby against 14 for the smaller one, and 1,700 watts at peak against 1,500. A bigger tank helps if you fill a large pan or several mugs in a row. It costs more to buy and more to keep hot.

All 4 taps use the Q08 extruded carbon block cartridge, with a replacement every 6 months in our data. A filter change is a running cost on top of the tap, so add it to your budget.

Standby power runs from 11 to 18 watts across the range. The tank stays hot all day, so that power is used whether or not you pour a cup. The running cost calculator turns it into pounds on your own tariff.

Qettle is the brand most buyers set against Quooker, since both heat to 100°C. Our comparison of the two is in the Quooker vs Qettle review linked from this page, and the table below puts the Qettle specifications in one place.
