Pull-out hose 4-in-1: 98°C boiling plus a flexible spout

The Kyros is Fohen's pull-out boiling tap: a flexible spout that pulls out to rinse a sink or fill a pan, rare in this category. A full 4-in-1 (98°C boiling adjustable from 75°C, filtered cold, hot, cold) from a 2.4L digital boiler. Five finishes, 2-year warranty, filter every 6 months. Fohen lists it at £739 and sells it at £549.

What we like

  • Genuine flexible pull-out spout, rare on a boiling tap
  • Full 4-in-1 including filtered cold
  • WRAS approved with a 2-year warranty
  • Sells at £549, below the £739 list price

Watch out for

  • 98°C, not a true 100°C boil
  • Brushed Brass finish costs £30 more
  • Power draw not published by Fohen
  • Younger brand, thinner long-term track record

Our take

The Fohen Kyros 4-in-1 Pull Out reviewed

The Kyros is Fohen's pull-out boiling tap, and the flexible spout is the whole reason to choose it. Most boiling taps have a fixed spout, so a hose that pulls out to rinse a deep sink or fill a pan that does not sit under the tap is genuinely useful and rare in this category. It is a full 4-in-1: 98°C boiling adjustable from 75°C, filtered cold, and standard hot and cold, from a 2.4L digital boiler. Fohen lists it at £739 and sells it at £549.

The finish range is wide, from chrome and matt black to aged and brushed brass, though the brushed brass costs £30 more. It is WRAS approved with a 2-year warranty and a child-proof spring-loaded dispense, and the filter changes every six months, or every three in hard water.

The trade-offs are the usual Fohen ones. The boil is 98°C rather than a true 100°C, Fohen does not publish a power figure, and as a younger brand it has a thinner long-term reliability record than Quooker or Franke. Buy the Kyros if the pull-out hose earns its keep in your kitchen, at the real £549 price rather than the £739 list.
