What a Qettle is, going by the data
The names carry a 4-in-1 label, which Qettle uses for a tap that gives boiling water at 100°C and filtered water. Our data lists no chilled or sparkling water on any Qettle, so do not read the label as a chiller and a carbonator. The class guide explains what the labels cover across brands. All 4 models list a 2 year warranty and are available in more than one finish, which each model page lists.
Original, Signature and the Modern range
The Qettle Original 4-in-1 is the entry point at £620, with a 4 litre tank and a 14 W idle draw. The Qettle Signature costs £795 and has a 2 litre tank, the smallest in the range, which suits a small kitchen. The Modern taps come in two tank sizes: the Signature Modern 4-in-1 (4L) at £870 with 4 litres, and the Signature Modern 4-in-1 (Round Spout, 7L) at £945 with 7 litres and a round spout.
Tank size is the real choice. A larger tank gives more cups before the tap has to reheat. It also keeps more water hot while you are not using it: the Qettle Signature Modern 4-in-1 (Round Spout, 7L) draws 18 W idle and costs £68 a year to run, the highest on the page. Across the range the idle draw runs from 11 to 18 watts, so the yearly running cost runs from £51 to £68 on the rule our running cost calculator uses. Pick the smallest tank that covers how many cups you pour in a row.
Qettle vs Quooker
The cheapest Quooker in our library is the Quooker Classic Nordic Round Single Tap at £1,050 RRP, with a 3 litre tank, a 10 W idle draw and about £49 a year to run. It lists no filtered water. Every Qettle is cheaper: the dearest one, the Qettle Signature Modern 4-in-1 (Round Spout, 7L), is £105 below it, and the entry model is £430 below. What the price gap does not tell you is service and build, which our data does not measure. The side-by-side with prices, warranty and ten-year cost is on Quooker vs Qettle, and the wider field is on Quooker alternatives.
Who each Qettle suits
Choose the Qettle Original 4-in-1 if the price matters most and one filtered boiling tap is all you want. Choose the Qettle Signature if the space under the sink is tight. Choose a Modern tap if you want a different spout style or a larger tank, and take the 7 litre version only if you pour many cups in a row, because it costs the most to keep hot. Every model on this page has the warranty stated in the table, so read it next to the price before you decide.
