Specs last updated 17 June 2026
Square-spout 100°C boiling tap in marine-grade stainless steel
The Signature Modern brings Qettle true-100°C boiling system into a contemporary square-spout silhouette. Marine-grade stainless steel, true 100°C boiling, filtered cold, mains hot and cold from a single tap with two independent levers. The 4-litre insulated tank gives roughly eight cups per dispense.

Our take
The Qettle Signature Modern 4L is the brand's direct challenge to Quooker at roughly a third less money. At £870 you get a 4-in-1 with a true 100°C dispense, a 4L tank that is a full litre larger than Quooker's PRO3, and a square spout in marine-grade stainless steel. Qettle is British, sells direct, and built its reputation on undercutting the premium incumbents without dropping to the £400 mass-market tier.
The spec-for-money calculation holds up. A 4L tank means more boiled water before the reheat cycle kicks in, which actually matters at dinner parties or for filling a stockpot. The 100°C rating is genuine, and marine-grade stainless resists pitting better than the chrome plating on cheaper rivals. Trustpilot scores for Qettle's installation and aftercare run around four-and-a-half stars, closer to Quooker territory than Fohen or Hanstrom manage.
The weakness is brand presence and resale. Qettle does not have Quooker's installer network or the showroom visibility, so finding a local engineer who knows the system can be harder outside the South East. The styling is also more functional than design-led, so if your kitchen is a Tom Howley or deVOL build, the Qettle will not match the visual ambition. Buy it for the 4L tank and the 100°C boil, not because it will impress visitors.

Running cost
Headline price is half the story. The Qettle Signature Modern 4-in-1 (4L) draws around 14 W at idle and reheats whenever the tank cools. Use the calculator with your own electricity tariff and household usage to see the 10-year total.
