Our take
The Nordic Round Single Tap is Quooker's answer to households that already have a kitchen mixer they like and refuse to throw it out. At £1,050 you get the boiling function only, fed from a 3L PRO3 tank, dispensed through a small round insulated spout that sits next to your existing tap. It exists because not everyone wants a 3-in-1, and Quooker is one of the few brands that takes that buyer seriously.
Where it scores is the same place every Quooker product does: a real 100°C dispense, the high-vacuum PRO3 tank with low idle draw, and a mature UK service network plus the SWAP tank-replacement scheme that the budget brands cannot match. The double-wall insulated spout is designed to stay cooler than a single-wall spout, which matters in households with small children. For anyone keeping an expensive Perrin & Rowe or Quooker mixer in place, this is the cleanest route to adding boiling water without ripping out the sink.
The catch is the price for what it actually does. £1,050 buys you boiling water and nothing else, no hot, no cold, no filtration. A Fohen Furnas at £449 delivers a 3-in-1 with hot and cold included, and even the Qettle Signature Modern at £870 gives you the full mixer. You are paying Quooker's premium specifically for the tank quality and the boil temperature, so this only makes sense if you already love your existing mixer enough to spend four figures preserving it.
Running cost
Headline price is half the story. The Quooker Nordic Round Single Tap draws around 10 W at idle and reheats whenever the tank cools. Use the calculator with your own electricity tariff and household usage to see the 10-year total.
