We cover 3 Hanstrom boiling water taps, with recommended retail prices from £299 to £499. The 4-in-1 Square is discontinued, which leaves 2 current taps. Every Hanstrom here heats to 98°C. All of them hold 2.4 litres. The warranty is 1 year on all of them.
The Ume 3-in-1 is the cheapest at £299. It draws 9 watts on standby and up to 1,200 watts at peak, and comes in 7 finishes: Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Gunmetal, Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Brushed Copper and Brass. Our data does not mark it as filtered, although it lists a Hanstrom Carbon Pure water filter for it, so check Hanstrom's specification sheet before you rely on either.
The Saxan 4-in-1 costs £399, £100 more than the Ume. It filters the water through a carbon and phosphate filter, with a replacement every 6 months in our data. It comes in Chrome, Brushed Gunmetal, Champagne Gold and Matt Black. We have no standby or peak power figure for it, so the running cost calculator needs your own estimate.
